Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols
- Manage cross-functional research teams of 5+ quantum physicists and engineers
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF/DARPA
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum-hybrid computing architectures for enterprise clients
- Drive intellectual property strategy with 10+ patents filed annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum hardware/software experience
- Proven track record with superconducting or photonic qubit systems
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Experience managing federally funded research projects
- Proficiency with quantum simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
