Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit quantum computers
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Design quantum-safe cryptographic systems for post-quantum era
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and climate modeling
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computing principles
- Drive R&D for quantum networking and distributed quantum computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting circuit design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum theory into scalable hardware
