Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and machine learning solutions
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and error correction protocols
- Develop quantum security frameworks for next-generation cryptographic systems
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum computing integration into existing cloud infrastructures
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and conduct research on emerging quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architecture
