Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum processor integration
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in topological quantum computing or fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Certification in IBM Quantum or Microsoft Azure Quantum
- Experience with quantum hardware (Rigetti, IonQ, D-Wave)
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in quantum research grants
