Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit stability
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Collaborate with physics and engineering teams to optimize quantum gate performance
- Create implementation roadmaps for quantum-classical hybrid computing platforms
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization problems
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum roadmap
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for quantum initiatives
- Strong track record of translating quantum concepts into commercial applications
