Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error correction protocols to maximize qubit stability and computational fidelity
- Collaborate with materials science teams to optimize qubit fabrication processes
- Create quantum algorithms for cryptography, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Develop performance benchmarks and optimization strategies for quantum processors
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and practical implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control hardware
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
