As our Quantum Computing Architect, you'll design scalable architectures for our flagship 'Project Chronos' initiative, collaborating with Nobel laureates and MIT-affiliated researchers in our Austin Innovation Hub.
Our Austin campus features a 10,000 sq ft quantum lab with 128-qubit processors and direct access to TACC supercomputing resources. This role offers equity, unlimited PTO, and relocation assistance for exceptional candidates.
Responsibilities
- Architect quantum-resistant encryption frameworks for financial systems
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines
- Lead cross-functional teams in 5+ quantum algorithm implementations
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols at scale
- Develop patent-pending quantum communication protocols
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summits
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or related field (MS + 5 years experience accepted)
- 3+ years building production quantum systems on IBM/Google platforms
- Published research in Nature Physics or Physical Review X
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Clearance for DoD quantum security projects (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Strong background in topological quantum error correction
