Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Optimize qubit coherence and error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant operations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world problem solving
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectural innovations
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Present breakthrough findings at premier international conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction algorithms
- Proven track record of building functional quantum systems beyond simulation
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
