Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for 2026-era applications in cryptography, drug discovery, and AI optimization
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for million-qubit processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-level problem-solving
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms with real-world industrial applications
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Drive patent development for proprietary quantum architectures and methodologies
- Partner with academic institutions to advance quantum computing theory and practice
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Mastery of quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of superconducting, photonic, and topological qubit technologies
- Track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Experience leading quantum hardware-software integration projects
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Strategic thinking with ability to translate quantum capabilities into business value
