Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for real-world optimization problems
- Develop novel error-correction protocols for scalable quantum computing architectures
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum processors with classical AI systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure federal research grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum-AI applications
- Present findings at premier conferences like Q2B and NeurIPS
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit design using Qiskit/Cirq
- Publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong programming skills in Python/C++ with ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or similar)
- Proven ability to secure research funding (NSF, DOE, or equivalent)
