Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum neural networks
- Develop novel error-correction techniques for quantum-AI integration
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into scalable commercial applications
- Present findings at premier conferences (Q2B, NeurIPS) and peer-reviewed publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and high-performance computing
- Publication record in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, Science, ICML)
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in information theory and quantum information processing
- Experience securing DoD/NSF research grants
