Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of hybrid quantum-classical neural networks optimized for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Design and implement novel algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning that leverage quantum parallelism.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to tailor software stacks for emerging quantum processors.
- Mentor a diverse team of research scientists and software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and rigorous experimentation.
- Publish high-impact research papers and secure patents for proprietary quantum AI methodologies.
- Define the technical roadmap for our quantum AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or Machine Learning.
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning research, with a proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or journals.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and TensorFlow/PyTorch, with specific experience in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics.
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
