Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport packages, equipment, and passengers
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo securely following safety protocols and weight distribution guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route interactions
- Document deliveries using electronic systems and maintain delivery records
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Proficient with navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
