Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely deliveries across Raleigh metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate mileage/delivery logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle interior and exterior
- Assist with route optimization to maximize efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Raleigh area and surrounding counties
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, mobile apps)
- Customer service-oriented communication style
