Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies to designated locations within Memphis and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures using our digital tracking system
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional conduct
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and update ETAs
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and HIPAA compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience or equivalent commercial driving background
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Memphis streets, highways, and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with smartphone technology for navigation and digital documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
