Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport time-sensitive documents, medical supplies, and commercial packages throughout Kansas City metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems with real-time updates
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the distribution hub
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with verifiable references
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile delivery apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of Kansas City metro area streets and highways
