Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and documentation, including HOS and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cab and cargo area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of Arizona.
- Current DOT Medical Card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, cargo securement, and hazardous material handling.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts.
