Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver goods to designated locations in Georgia and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, adhering to weight distribution and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital paperwork within company standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to the terminal.
