Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely to ensure product integrity.
- Prepare and maintain accurate delivery documentation, including bills of lading and logbooks.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding routes and delivery statuses.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company guidelines regarding driving hours and rest periods.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle type).
- Current, valid DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
