Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and required documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial truck driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of San Jose metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
