Responsibilities
- Safely operate freight vehicles to transport goods between warehouses, distribution centers, and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs using fleet management systems
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and verify inventory upon delivery
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional freight or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
