Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment following safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status and delays
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards at all times
- Assist with warehouse duties during off-peak hours as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and logbook maintenance
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
