Bay Area Heavy Haul & Excavation is currently looking for a dedicated Part-Time Dump Truck Driver to join our growing team. We specialize in heavy civil construction and infrastructure projects throughout the Bay Area, and we need reliable operators to handle our fleet of heavy dump trucks.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B dump trucks on various construction sites and job locations within San Francisco.
- Load and unload materials (gravel, dirt, asphalt, demolition debris) efficiently and safely using forklifts or winches.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean logbook and adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and local traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with site foremen and dispatch regarding job status and delivery locations.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting during transit.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as refueling, checking tire pressure, and cleaning the cab.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy construction equipment.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with local San Francisco geography and traffic patterns.
- Ability to work part-time hours with occasional overtime as needed.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and company policies.
