As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transport of construction materials, dirt, and debris to various job sites across the metro area. We value hard work and offer a modern work environment with consistent opportunities for overtime and growth.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport materials to and from construction sites, landfills, and quarries.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting, damage, and ensure safety during transit.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation as required by company policy and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the truck cab and bed.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Class B endorsement and Air Brake (S) endorsement.
- A clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy commercial vehicles.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including loading, unloading, and shoveling materials.
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and load securing.
- Reliable attendance and a professional attitude.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
