Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food orders to customers within designated Portland neighborhoods using company vehicles
- Maintain excellent customer service through professional communication and timely deliveries
- Verify order accuracy before departure and resolve delivery issues proactively
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while representing the SwiftCart brand
- Manage delivery route optimization to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with restaurant partners to ensure seamless order handoffs
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and navigate stairs during deliveries
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and order management apps
- Strong time-management skills and punctuality in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills and friendly, approachable demeanor
- Reliable transportation to/from shift locations (if using personal vehicle)
- Basic math skills for handling cash tips and transactions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
