Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within North Carolina
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Manage delivery schedules with precision and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Document delivery confirmations and handle paperwork efficiently
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Positive attitude and commitment to professional conduct
