Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely and efficiently drive commercial trucks to deliver goods to designated locations within the region.
- Load and Unload: Properly load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of delivery times, mileage, and cargo status using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and ensure customer satisfaction with every delivery.
Qualifications
- CDL License: Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no more than one (1) moving violation in the past three (3) years.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate start and flexible part-time hours, including weekends.
