Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within Houston metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving standards
- Assist with cargo securement and basic warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- Basic knowledge of Houston metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends based on delivery schedules
