Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Portland metro area and surrounding regions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and route coordinators
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Portland area roadways and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and current physical exam
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
