Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials across Los Angeles County
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Navigate complex urban and suburban routes using GPS and mapping systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
