Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport freight
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Communicate delivery status and resolve route discrepancies
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and mechanical functionality
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient scheduling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio roadways and delivery zones
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS)
- Flexibility to work 20-30 hours weekly (daytime shifts)
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 50 lbs
