Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in urban/urban-suburban environments
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries within designated metropolitan zones
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route optimization
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and customer service skills
