Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods within Omaha metro and surrounding regions
- Perform pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and post-trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery time windows
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and incident reports
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points and resolve delivery issues
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and real-time updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Omaha metro area roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
