Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for local and regional deliveries within Colorado Springs and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and required documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and coordinate repairs when necessary
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and real-time updates
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of box truck or similar commercial vehicle experience
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance and current DOT medical card
- Reliable 24-26 ft box truck in good working condition
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of local Colorado Springs roadways and delivery zones
- Professional communication and customer service aptitude
