Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across NYC metropolitan area
- Pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatchers and clients professionally
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse operations during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver’s license (minimum 6 months clean record)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A within 90 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- No DUI convictions in past 5 years
- Positive attitude and team player mentality
