Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight deliveries across the Midwest
- Pre-trip inspections and post-trip vehicle maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unverify freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries in high-demand urban environments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience or equivalent
- Night shift availability (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
