Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight routes (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and route optimization tools
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all FMCSA safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer ladders
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic GPS and smartphone proficiency
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends/holidays included)
