Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in compliance with FMCSA and company policies.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of cargo to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain roadworthiness.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading and electronic logs (ELD) accurately.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of the crew, cargo, and the public.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to address routing changes and delivery issues.
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (logbook required).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be available for night shift work (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
