Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) for overnight delivery routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT compliance regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation and real-time updates
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delays or route changes
- Complete all required paperwork and digital documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Minimum 1 year experience in night shift truck driving
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of El Paso and Southwest regional highways
- Pass background check and drug screening (FMCSA compliant)
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road issues
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
