As a Night Shift Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in keeping the supply chain moving efficiently while enjoying the quieter roads and less traffic during your shift.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a high standard of safety and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate commercial vehicles.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
