Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers in a safe, legal, and courteous manner.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, straps, etc.) to ensure safety.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Navigate efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining high safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
