Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van) on overnight routes within Charlotte metro area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and accurate documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight at various facilities
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and basic maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with warehouse teams and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and reliability
