Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for long-haul and regional deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for route optimization and timely deliveries
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with proper documentation
- Respond proactively to changing traffic and weather conditions
- Perform minor roadside maintenance and report mechanical issues
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills with GPS and route planning expertise
- Physical ability to handle 50-70 lb loads and climb ladders
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Tennessee road networks and Southeast routes
