Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses during assigned night shifts
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Operate GPS navigation systems to optimize routes and ensure timely arrivals
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and route challenges
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing for COD deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and load/unload packages safely
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery app navigation
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
