Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload packages efficiently and accurately, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Navigate delivery routes using GPS and road maps to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to traffic laws.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling deliveries with care and maintaining a clean vehicle appearance.
- Complete daily logs, inspection reports, and delivery receipts accurately.
- Assist in maintaining the inventory of delivery supplies and vehicle maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a clean, valid state driver's license with a good driving record.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
