Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL-class vehicles to transport goods during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation via electronic systems
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients using GPS tracking tools
- Secure cargo and verify delivery accuracy with electronic signatures
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with Sacramento area routes and traffic patterns
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
