Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods during overnight hours
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes using GPS technology
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues
- Ensure proper handling and security of all cargo
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A/B) or valid driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 75 pounds
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic knowledge of Virginia Beach roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
