Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently navigate Portland's streets to deliver packages, food, and essential supplies during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to minimize transit time
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse and delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work 11 PM - 7 AM, Monday through Sunday
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Portland's geography and traffic patterns
