Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes during overnight hours
- Perform pre-trip inspections, secure cargo, and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and route updates
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across Los Angeles County and surrounding areas
- Contribute to fleet maintenance by reporting vehicle issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 8 PM to 6 AM)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
