Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional night deliveries
- Load/unload freight using proper techniques and equipment
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Maintain precise delivery records and route documentation
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients during night operations
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries in Oakland metro area
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with Oakland/CA traffic patterns and regulations
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour night shifts (Sun-Thu)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
